I figured this would be easyer.
All the basic information needed for the StrKhan is here, enjoy the read =)
Physical Appearance: The Str khan are a silicon based life form, composed of a Hyper Dense Multi phasic Crystalline composite polymer. They are humanoid bipeds that appear to be sculpted form crystal sapphire. They take the form of an athletic male or female human, with no facial features except for their eyes, which are small and angular. They also have an arrangement of crystal spines or spikes which protrude from the upper back and shoulders. These growths are also present to a much lesser degree on the head, where they actually resemble human hair. The arrangement of these spikes is as individual as a human’s fingerprints.
History: The following is a record file as presented by the Great Machine on Epsilon III. It is the only Str’Khan history record available to the public, as this is the only faction of this race to come into contact with humanity to date. More information on the Five Factions will follow this record, G.M.s are advised to be creative with them.
Many generations ago, longer than most of us alive now can remember without the oracle’s aid, we were not as you see us now. We were similar in form to you but we were not a terrestrial being. Our bodies were designed to ride along the air currents of our worlds skies like the great manta ray of your oceans ride the waves. We existed in this form for eons. We built great cities in the clouds of our world and dominated it in much the same way that you rule your own worlds. In time, we sought to escape the bonds of our home world and explore the great darkness beyond.
Our world had a number of natural satellites, rich in the materials we would need to construct the vehicles that would carry us on our journeys. We touched the stars closest to us at first, searching for some sign that we were not alone in the heavens. We were not long in finding it. It was much like this world on which you live, peopled by a race of organic humanoids. They and their world were alien to us, but we so desired contact with these beings, we drove ourselves to improve our technology so that we could communicate with them in ways they would understand. Through this research, we created the sentient machines you see before you now.
Our new friends were eager to receive our good nature, we offered them our computer technology because it was through them that we created it. We, at first, thought that their eagerness to learn and share with us what they knew of the cosmos, was the product of intellects dedicated to the enhancement of their own knowledge, simply for the purpose of learning. It was not. We soon learned that they were a people locked in a conflict to save their race, nay to save us all. They fought an enemy that came from beyond the rim of our galaxy. An enemy possessing technologies that dwarfed all that we knew. Learning this, we gathered our knowledge and returned home.
Our new friends had warned us, that even armed with the supercomputers we had given them, that they may not be able to turn the dark ones aside. We returned to our homes to prepare for the worst. By this time in our history, the five largest of our moons had been converted into artificial habitats which were to carry us to the stars. We had, in fact, waited until this proses was nearly complete before leaving our system. Now we turned our attention to saving our people. The war was indeed, going badly for our allies. We aided them when we could, and in the meantime prepared to move our race away from the stars that had spawned us.
In meeting the aliens, we learned that their form was more prevalent in the far reaches of the cosmos and sought to adapt aspects of their being to us. We accepted volunteers to undergo a proses of molecular transmutation that, if successful, would imprint on their molecular structures, the more resilient natures our species had to offer. This would allow us to learn to duplicate certain aspects of their forms. This is how we gained the form you know today.
For nearly a decade and a half, we watched our allies fight a losing war. They were dying and they knew it, but they continued to fight in the hope that other, less evolved races would survive. Finally our preparations to leave behind, forever, the place of our origins were complete. We could not amass a military force strong enough to fend off the darkness that was fast approaching our home, but we did build a small number of ships to help our allies hold the line against the darkness. We vowed to return, and help to rebuild those civilizations that the darkness had ravaged.
The great citadels that we had built would become our new homes. We had perfected a method of interdiminsional travel that the enemy could not track, and we hoped that this would have allowed our escape. We were not so fortunate...they knew what we were planing, and struck as we made our departure. The weapon they used against us caused space and time to act against us and our dimensional travel devices did not function as they should have and we were scattered across space and time like wind blown leaves. Of the Eight Citadels we had constructed, I know for certain that only five survived. Although we never found evidence supporting the destruction of any one of these fortresses, we could not locate any of them. In fact it took us almost 4,000 years to finally find the two that we know survived.
When we became set adrift on the cosmic winds, we were alone for the first time. Our brothers and sisters were separated from us in both mind and body, but we had to continue. Apart from all that we knew, and separate from the council of the Commonality of our people, we were forced to fend for ourselves. As we encountered new forms of life and different ways of thinking, we had to adapt our own ways accordingly to survive. We can only assume that our ancient kinsmen have changed as we have. We can not say how or why, only that they have. We offer this advice:
1) If ever you find our brothers, deal with them directly and truthfully. They will see deception and distrust you for it.
2) Accept what you find. Do not expect any one of us to behave like another. We are the same, but we are individuals.
3) Do not place ‘human’ values on those you do not know. We look like you, but we are not you.
The recorded data, you have just read is over 20,000 years old. In that time the Str’Khan survivors that live today are as diverse as humanity. The original citadels were not destroyed in their escape, they were simply scattered across the cosmos. To date only two have found their way back to the stars that gave them life. They are not the same beings they were all those eons ago. Having to survive on their own for so long, each Citadel became it’s own ‘world’ with it’s own customs and beliefs.
These individual factions of Str’Khan are essentially, planetary governments in themselves. The Citadels on which they live provide all they need. (See data to follow.) They can be potential allies or deadly enemies...
